Decal Application Instructions

  • Optional but Recommended for opals and holos  Take a credit card or similar object and press down hard + scrape over the decal and transfer tape. I do this before sending it, but since it takes a few days for the decal to arrive, you should probably do this again.
  • Clean desired surface (Rubbing alcohol preferred)

Remove Backing Paper

  • Carefully remove the backing paper off of the decal and transfer tape. if any part stays on the tape, place the it back down on that section, press it firmly and try again
  • You can always flip the decal face down and remove the backing paper off of the decal. I find this method easier for the holo and opal colors.

Applying Your Decal

  • Now that you have removed the backing paper, slowly place and lower the decal onto your surface.
  • Scrape all over the surface of the decal (the transfer tape should still be on) with a credit card firmly to make sure the adhesive gets a good grip on where you applied it. Decal adhesive requires pressure to stick really well on the surface.
  • Let the decal and tape sit for a few minutes (Especially for the holos and opals)
  • Slowly remove the clear transfer tape off of the decal. Peeling it off near parallel to the surface will help prevent pieces from coming up and staying on the tape. Put both hands on each side of the removed tape and gently wiggle it back and forth off the decal.
  • If any pieces come up just lower the tape back down, press over it firmly and try again.
  • Once the transfer tape is completely removed, sit back and admire your work. You're done!
  • *Optional* Send a pic of your brand new decal to all your friends to make them jealous.

*Important Aftercare*

You can wash the decals as much as you want but remember to NEVER wipe it down with a towel. Just carefully wipe dry the surrounding area and let the rest air dry.

If you ever want to remove the decal, it's as easy as peeling it off. If it's on a window, you can spray everything with a window cleaner or soap/water mixture and scrape it off with a razor blade (Fastest way to get off intricate decals)

Thank you!!
